Tango Smart offers
Calls, text messages, MMSs and traffic data included in your subscription are not any longer limited to Luxembourg but now include anywhere in Europe at no extra charge. Tango is the first operator to move ahead of the regulations by allowing you to use 100% of your subscription anywhere in Europe!
This does, however, have an impact on the subscription rates: a Tango Smart M subscription is therefore rising from €25 to €27, but there is no limit when it comes to travelling and communicating freely throughout Europe.
Tango Smart LU
The two Tango Smart LU packages offer advantageous rates for a volume of calls, text messages; MMSs and traffic data. The advantages of this subscription are valid only in Luxembourg and are blocked in the rest of Europe and other countries in the world.
International calls and calls to the rest of Europe from Luxembourg are possible but not included in the subscription (1). For all your calls to the rest of Europe, there are various options available.
Tango Smart LU is therefore for people who use their telephone for solely within Luxembourg. If you travel outside of Luxembourg, we advise you to opt for a Tango Smart Europe subscription.
Tango Internet Mobile offers

The traffic data included in your subscription is no longer limited to Luxembourg but now includes anywhere in Europe at no extra charge. Tango is the first operator to move ahead of the regulations by allowing you to use 100% of your subscription anywhere in Europe!
This does, however, have an impact on the subscription rates: a Tango Internet Mobile L subscription is therefore rising from €15,20 to €18/month, but there is no limit when it comes to travelling and communicating freely throughout Europe.

The Tango Internet Mobile LU subscriptions offers advantageous rates for traffic data volumes. The advantages of this subscription are valid only in Luxembourg and are blocked in the rest of Europe and other countries in the world.
Tango Internet Mobile LU is therefore for people who use their telephone for solely within Luxembourg. If you travel outside of Luxembourg, we advise you to opt for a Tango Internet Mobile subscription including Europe.

I am a Tango mobile customer. What is changing for me?
Must I enter into a new contract?
No, the changes to your mobile phone package do not alter your contract or its duration. We are modifying existing subscriptions so that they offer more comprehensive services, including 100% roaming, and propose the solution that best fits your usage.
Must I sign a new contract?
No. Your current contract remains valid; we upgrade it to a more comprehensive service package.
Why is the price of my subscription changing?
The decision to revise our range of Tango Smart/Tango Internet Mobile subscriptions is a purely commercial one, in line with our commitment to our customers: to offer you ever clearer and simpler packages. There are no hidden conditions: all the volumes of communications of the Europe subscriptions are 100% valid in Europe. Of course, this decision will result in a significant rise in our costs as the volumes of communications used in roaming have considerably increased over the recent years. That leads to costs without any corresponding revenues. We have therefore decided to increase the price of our subscriptions, to a degree that is commensurate with the new benefits provided and that is acceptable to our customers. We will thus be able to continue to invest in the development of technologies for our customers.
Why is the volume of communications changing?
The changes to the mobile packages have been devised with a view to greater peace of mind and simplicity.
Before you had different volumes depending on the type of communication and country where you found yourself. From now on, the total volume of your communications will be monthly and cost the same, irrespective of whether you are in Luxembourg or elsewhere in Europe! There are no hidden conditions: all the volumes of communications of the Tango Smart/Tango Internet Mobile Europe subscriptions are 100% valid in Europe.
For example: The old version of Tango Smart M offered you 5GB of data per month in Luxembourg and 5GB of data for roaming in the rest of Europe per annum. Now, Tango Smart M offers you 5GB of data per month that may be used in Luxembourg AND in Europe.
May I use the occasion to choose a new mobile phone?
You can, of course, choose a new mobile phone. To do so, just go to your nearest point of sale.
What if the proposed change does not suit me?
How did you decide on the change that you are offering me?
The change that we are offering you is the one that best corresponds to your current usage.
May I opt for a mobile subscription other than the one proposed?
If the change proposed does not suit you, you have a few weeks to change your subscription at no change and find the one that perfectly matches your needs. We invite you to consider all the possibilities by examining the details of the changes to the Tango Smart and Tango Internet Mobile packages.
You may test the changes to your subscription. If it does not meet your needs, do not hesitate to contact us by going to one of our sales points or calling Customer Service at 27 777 624 (1).
And if I want to keep my current package?
From 15 June, the old packages will no longer be available. It will therefore be impossible to keep the same subscription as you now have.
I wish to cancel my mobile phone subscription.
Do not forget that the fact of changing packages does not recommit you. Moreover, you have some weeks to change subscriptions at no cost and find one that perfectly matches your needs (1).
Following our proposal regarding the changed package, you have 30 days to cancel your subscription at no cost. To do so, please send us a registered letter to the following address only:

A few examples
SCENARIO 1 : Marie lives and works in Luxembourg and likes to go out in France at the weekends
She’s currently got a Tango Smart LU subscription without a mobile, and turns Vodafone Voyager on at weekends.
She chooses to continue with Tango Smart M, which means she’ll be able to make calls and browse the Net at weekends without turning Vodafone Voyager on and without having to worry about borders!
SCENARIO 2 : Pol is retired and lives in Luxembourg
He never leaves the country as all his friends and family live there. He occasionally calls his grandchildren, who are studying in the UK. He currently has a Tango Smart LU package.
He chooses to continue with Tango Smart LU M because the volume of voice calls, SMS, MMS and data traffic is included in his subscription. The Europe 2H option means he’ll be able to call his grandchildren for just €5.50 per month!
SCENARIO 3 : Jules lives in Belgium and works in Luxembourg
He currently has a Tango Smart XL+ subscription with a smartphone included, because he makes calls, sends texts and spends a lot of time on the Net in roaming mode. He’s got 18 months left to run because he signed up to a 24-month commitment.
He chooses to continue with Tango Smart XL+. With this package, he’ll be able to make calls and send texts anywhere in Europe.
He used to get 20 GB per year in Europe, which gave him a bit of a problem at the end of the year because his annual pack was all used up. Now he’ll be able to send MMS messages and browse the Net, whether he’s at work in Luxembourg or at home in Belgium, without worrying about his data volume because he gets 20 GB per month which can be used anywhere in Europe.
In addition to this, he’ll be able to keep an eye on his consumption from his smartphone using the My Tango application.
As far as the option My New Mobile and his subscription are concerned, there’s no change to the length of his commitment period, he’ll still have 18 months to go on his commitment with his updated package.
SCENARIO 4: Sophie is living in Luxembourg and she often travels to Europe
She also likes shopping in Germany, skiing in France and she’s planning to go to Spain for two weeks this summer. She has an old Tango Smart iPhone 75 subscription. She spends a lot of time on social networks and enjoys listening to music online using her mobile. The telephone itself isn’t included in her subscription. She currently has an iPhone 5, and would like to take advantage of this to get the new iPhone 7.
She chooses to continue with Tango Smart XL+. With this package, she’ll be able to make calls and send texts anywhere in Europe.
She used to use the Vodafone Voyager option whenever she went on holiday, but now she’ll be able to send MMS messages and browse the Net anywhere in Europe without having to worry about her data volume because she gets 20 GB per month which can be used anywhere in Europe.
Because she’d like a new smartphone, Sophie will be able to finance it by giving a fresh commitment for 24 months with Tango Smart XL+.
